A dependable water well rated for a minimum water yield of at least 10 to 15 gallons per minute.
A pumping water level that is within 80 feet of the surface.

Water quality must be potable.
Water hardness and iron content are generally not a factor provided. The water does not contain bacterial iron, or receive mixed water from shallow sources.
Water discharge area must allow for "free flow" drainage in a manner that will not create a water hazard or inconvienience to neighbors.
